It's always Thrissur! But why?

First of all, this is not a positive or negative comment; I just want to share some facts about "THRISSUR," a place situated in central Kerala in the country of India.

Have you ever thought deeply about THRISSUR? As a Thrissurian, I have always wondered that the historical milestones of Thrissur are somehow strange, making Thrissur very different from other districts of Kerala.

Thrissur was once the capital of the Kingdom of Cochin and served as a point of contact for the Assyrians, Greeks, Persians, Arabs, Romans, Portuguese, Dutch, and English.

Thrissur is believed to be the place where religions like Christianity, Islam, and Judaism entered the Indian subcontinent.

Thrissur is also where the first COVID-19 case was reported in India.

According to the Oxford Economics' Global Cities Index 2024, THRISSUR is ranked as the best city in India in the Quality of Life category.

It's always Thrissur! But why?

Also, today marks another significant and strange event in the history of Kerala: the arrival of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Kerala, once again here in Thrissur! Let's see what happens in the future!?
